TSA (Technology Student Association)
Since creation, PVIT’s TSA (Technology Student Association) team works on solving scenarios to find engineering solutions. These scenarios may require the usage of high school curriculum like biology, geometry, chemistry, etc.
Every Friday, TSA holds meetings where students split into groups and hone their critical thinking and problem solving skills.Unlike other teams, TSA doesn’t work on machines to submit to competitions. Rather, the competitions entail the usage of their minds and essay writing and presentation skills. An example of a competition can be something like biotechnology design, where students must create a display and a solution for an annual biotechnic problem. Demonstrating their intellectual prowess and understanding of the topic through detailed research.
TSA is an amazing opportunity for developing research and debate skills and to prepare the next generation of engineers to solve real world problems.
